Battle Rules

To make things fair, here are some rules you have to follow.

1. If the attack is weakening to your Pokemon, it must lose health.
2. If the attack is a normal attack (but still deadly), it must lose health.
3. Health lost is based in the attack. Look up on Bulbapedia for more info.
4. You can block attacks, but only twice, so this can give the opponent a chance.
5. No bullying while battling.
6. If the attack used is critical, you must use a different attack before using it again (This does not apply to Pokemon with only 1 attack)
7. If your Pokemon is badly injured during battle, take it to Pokemon Hospital or you could risk losing your Pokemon to the authorities. If it faints, put it back in its Pokeball to regenerate.
8. Trainers cannot battle each other: they must use their Pokemon to fight.
9. Your Pokemon must win at least 2 battles before evolving. Look at the Evolution page or Bulbapedia for more info.
10. Have fun!

    1. Nah, just a picture XD
      Ignore it.
Basicly, battles are where Trainers fight with their Pokemon. Whoever wins gets the gold, as they say.
Look up on Bulbapedia for more info.

    4. Have you played ANY Pokemon games in your entire life? It's a little hard to explain how this all works without at least some idea whats what and stuff like that.

    10. You see the picture up there? (dumb question, but go with it) Well... you may also see the options "Battle, Bag, Pokemon, and Run".

The "Battle" option allows you to give a command to your Pokemon to attack the apposing Pokemon. Since you have Fennekin, The moves it currently knows is "Scratch, Ember, and Tail whip". (Tail whip is not a proper attack - it just weakens the other Pokemon's defenses, allowing you to hit harder)

The "Bag" option allows you to look through your items, pokeballs, and meds. Pretty basic. You may also use an item on a Pokemon in your party, but you lose your turn.

If you have any more Pokemon with you, the "Pokemon" option allows you to switch out a different pokemon to battle with. You will assume the first pokemon in your party (unless fainted) after the battle is over, for the starting of the next one. (You can switch them around)

And the "Run" option makes you run for your life away from the wild Pokemon. You don't get any XP from it, nor money. Running away can fail, unless the pokemon currently battling has the ability "Run away", which ensures a clean getaway. It cannot be used when battling people.

      Ok, any questions?
